INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FINANCE (IIF) founded in 1987 as a non-profit autonomous educational institution, to promote education and research in Finance. IIF has made distinguished scholarly contributions acclaimed nationally and internationally.
IIF is solely devoted to promotion of education and research and not for profit, in public interest.
IIF is founded by Professor (Dr) J.D. Agarwal an outstanding educationist and philanthropist under the aegis of Jyoti Foundation a public charitable trust registered under Trust Act and also u/s 12A of Income Tax Act 1961.
IIF is apolitical and maintains neutrality in its views, opinions and operations.
IIF follows highest possible Norms, Standards, Transparency, Accountability and Code of Ethics.
IIF is unique and the only Organisation of its kind in India.

IIF has a very high market Recognition.
IIF has established linkages with more than 200 leading professionals internationally from institutions like London School of Economics, London Business School, Harvard University, MIT, Wharton School, University of Chicago, IITs & IIMs and other institutions from U.S.A., U.K, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Denmark, Portugal, Australia, several countries of Asia and Africa including Nobel Laureates.
IIF has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with over 20 Universities / Institutions world wide for joint research, exchange of faculty and students to promote academics and international understanding.
IIF has appropriate linkages with industrial units and industry associations: FICCI, CII, PHDCCI, ASSOCHAM, DMA & AIMA.
IIF has linkages with thousands of officials & managers at top & middle level in private and public sector enterprises, banks, insurance companies, financial institutions and government, who have participated in MDPs in which IIF participated as resource faculty or coordinated.
The institution provides faculty support on invitation to deliver lectures,address seminars or conduct research activities.
IIF has established indirect linkages with about 10,000 people to whom IIF Newsletter is sent for the last 16 years.
Objectives
To fill the gap in the existing education & higher learning than substituting the existing system
To reach and provide education to those where no education facilities are available
As a socially responsible organisation to give special consideration to the Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes candidates; Handicapped candidates; Personnel from Defence Forces including War Widows; College and University teachers and their wards
As an act of Philanthropy the Institute grants Scholarships / Graduate Assistantships to all the deserving cases; In the past about 10 % students are granted Tuition fees waiver; Fellowships; Scholarships and Graduate Assistantships.
The Institute feels responsible to consider that the nation; society; the world at large; employers; parents of students / funding agencies such as banks or donors and lastly the students and employees as the major stakeholders |
