Other UL Courses

Interdisciplinary programmes at the University of Limerick are those programmes that are jointly taught by two faculties. These programmes enable students to combine subjects from different areas, such as Business, Humanities, Engineering and Science. These courses combine course work in exciting and innovative ways. This enables students to receive a broader exposure to subject areas that would not otherwise be available in courses delivered by one faculty.

FACILITIES
UL students benefit from bright modern facilities. Everything is geared towards enabling students to learn without encountering outmoded facilities or shortages. The University of Limerick Glucksman Library is modern and is purpose-built to provide a fantastic learning environment. Work will commence shortly on a major extension to the library which will further enhance its services.

Lecture theatres at UL are also modern and have excellent acoustics.

There are many study rooms and seminar rooms where students can meet and work on group projects as well as sharing ideas and learning together.

UL has computer labs in buildings all over the campus, so you are never far from access to a PC. We even have a 24 hour computer lab! All of our computer labs have high speed broadband access through the UL network.

Our language support unit has excellent facilities for viewing films and listening to recordings.

Science laboratories and engineering laboratories at UL offer unparalleled facilities. We pride ourselves on the wide range of sophisticated equipment available for use by our students.
