The Federal Aviation Administration certified Hallmark as an Aviation Maintenance Technician School on September 18, 1969, and the doors were opened for eight students. The original campus was located at San Antonio’s historic Stinson Municipal Airport.
Richard H. Fessler became the school’s president in 1974. His leadership and commitment to quality education guided the school through the 70s and 80s with significant accomplishment.

Our Admissions Representatives will explore with you your program of interest and answer all your questions. You will have the opportunity to tour the facilities and view our educational environment first hand. Your decision about your future career will be built on facts.
Your Admissions Representative will assist in completing the necessary admissions forms and set up an interview with a Financial Planning Advisor.
Prospective students must be a high school graduate or hold a GED certificate or home schooled diploma. Eligible students must pass the Hallmark College entrance assessment.
The Acceptance Committee determines student acceptance. You will be notified of your admission status very soon after your initial interview.

Hallmark's Financial Planning Advisors work with you every step of the way to eliminate the confusion and worries that prospective students often encounter when trying to figure out how to pay for school.
Based on Hallmark's cost of attendance the Financial Planning Advisor will determine the combination of grants and/or loans that would best meet each student's needs.
Your Financial Planning Advisor is available to help students in the completion of all documents applicable to the various sources of financial aid.
