About Everest Institute

Founded in 1851 the school was originally named Duff´s Business Institute. Now Everest Institute, the school grants diplomas and associate degrees in a variety of career-focused programs. There are more than 25 campuses across the US.

The curriculum focuses on teaching students practical, employable skills that cater to the current needs of employers in the field. The Institute notes that it regularly reviews and updates the curriculum to insure that graduates are career-ready at the completion of the program.

Classes are taught by experienced faculty members who are professionals in the fields that they teach. The teachers emphasize a practical education that prepares graduates for real-world application of what they learn.

Student Life

The Everest Institute campuses are commuter schools. Student-to-student and teacher-to-student interaction takes place in the classrooms and the learning laboratories on campus.
