Concordia University Texas is an award-winning institution of higher education, offering undergraduate, graduate and an Accelerated Degree Program for adult students with satellite campuses in Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio. A privately-held, accredited, liberal arts university, Concordia is owned by The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. It is a member of the highly respected Concordia University System in which more than 19,000 students are enrolled nationwide.
The university was originally established in 1926 as the Lutheran Concordia College of Texas. It became a coeducational institute in 1955 and was renamed as the Concordia Lutheran College in 1965. The school has been known as Concordia University Texas since 2007. The 350-acre campus is located in Austin, Texas.
