The Guaranteed Admissions Scheme (GAS) works in partnership with local schools and colleges to offer their students a guaranteed place on a number of the University's undergraduate programmes.

Open days provide an ideal opportunity for potential students to come along and find out about the courses we offer as well as see our facilities and campuses. You can also talk to admission tutors, staff and students about life at the University.

Schools and College Staff Careers Advisers
NEWSLINK is a newsletter for teachers, lecturers and careers advisers in schools and further education colleges. It features articles about activities, special events, new courses and lots, lots more.
NewsLink (in PDF) is produced by the Schools and Colleges Liaison Service and is distributed each term. If you would like your school, college or organisation to be added to our database please contact the Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer.
The Schools & Colleges Liaison Officer is a member of the Higher Education Liaison Officers Association (HELOA) which undertakes to maintain a high standard of professionalism by adhering to the Association's code of practice.
Visits to schools and colleges can be arranged to talk to students and parents about aspects of life in higher education.
Students can benefit from the service by receiving advice on completing UCAS forms, planning for higher education and choosing higher education courses.
