Who Is Eligible:
Full-time BMCC students
Children of victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks - including those of police, fie-safety, or medical personnel killed or suffering debilitating injuries
Requirements:
Proof of eligibility
Relative financial need
Insurance determination letter to verify parent is a permanently disabled
Referral letter from family member verifying death of parent.
Deadline: 05/15/2010 May 15 - Deadline for applications to FAA; July 1 - FAA must submit applications to The Sallie Mae 911 Education Fund; September - Scholarship award notification
Amount: Up to $2,500
