Open to: candidates with a doctoral degree or the equivalent
Responsibilities: This is primarily a research position, although a certain degree of teaching at the university level is also included. Certain administrative duties may also be included in this position.
The minimum qualification for this position is a doctoral degree or the equivalent. The degree shall have been awarded no later than the closing date for applications to the post. Applicants who have been awarded their degree no more than five years prior to the close of the application period will be given priority. Applicants who have completed their degree earlier than this will be considered if there are special reasons warranting their inclusions. Such reasons include sickness, national service, a position of responsibility within a trade union or student organisation, maternity/paternity leave or other similar circumstances. The appointment is renewable up to a maximum of four years.
Selection Criteria Applicants should present documented evidence of, in the first instance, their research expertise and, secondarily, their teaching ability, relevant to the field of Art History. Their portfolio should demonstrate their scholarly and professional expertise, as well as an ability to disseminate research and development, and any relevant administrative experience.
